Requirements

Competitive swimming provides the opportunity for a swimmer to achieve a level of excellence and accomplishment too often unseen amid the mediocrity of today’s life. However, this excellence takes a high level of commitment on the part of both the athlete and the family.

We require that athletes:

• Maintain a positive attitude toward coaches and training;

• Strive for honesty with themselves, the coaching staff, and team members;

• Set high but attainable goals.

The most important factor in a swimmer's success is attendance. Attendance at all practices is required. Team members are also required to attend and participate in all qualified meets.

It is important that the athlete and the family plan to be committed to competing and training with the team for the entire season. 

Fees

The team fees are $1200 for the summer season. The cost of the program does not include membership in United States Swimming, Inc., which is an additional $55.00 per year. Swimmers' families will be expected to pay the traveling expenses for meets, entry fees, and deck fees. The athlete and the family must plan to be committed to competing and training with the team for the entire season. There are no refunds, and there are no prorated rates since our fees are based on fixed coaching, pool, and administrative costs for the season.
